The Puerto Rico Mathematical Olympiads (Olimpiadas Matemáticas de Puerto Rico), a program of the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, welcomes you to the XXII Annual Meeting of the Mathematical Kangaroo.The tropical City of San Juan, Capital of Puerto Rico, will be the site of the first ever Kangaroo meeting outside of Europe.¡Bienvenidos!

VenueThe Caribe Hilton Hotel is one of the best known hotels in the Caribbean. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it was the first facility ever operated by Hilton Hotels outside of the continental United States. Just a short drive (or 20-minute walk) from Old San Juan and the Condado area, it is also a 15-minute drive from the Luis Muñoz-Marín International Airport.

How to get here
Before traveling to Puerto Rico a citizen of a foreign country must generally obtain a USA nonimmigrant visa for temporary stay. For more information you may visit this site.
Visitors will arrive at the Luis Muñoz-Marín International Airport (code: SJU) located in the municipality of Carolina in the San Juan Metropolitan Area. It is by far the busiest airport in the Caribbean. SJU is connected by daily non-stop service to most major hubs in the USA including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Miami, New York/Newark, Orlando, Philadelphia and Washington DC. Airlines serving Puerto Rico from the USA include AirTran, American, Delta, JetBlue, Spirit, US Airways, United, Southwest, among others.
